Tax benefits and (subsidy) schemes for working with newcomers

An overview of possible arrangements:

Temporary wage cost subsidy: A fixed amount of money for extra guidance and/or lower labour productivity.

Incentive premiums: Temporary minimum wage compensation.

Compensation for additional costs: For example, for guidance, training or adaptation of the workplace.

Subsidy scheme: support for employers, deployment of status holders: To support employers in the sustainable employment of status holders, the Ministry of Social Affairs & Employment (SZW) offers them the opportunity to apply for a subsidy for this. This subsidy is intended to provide additional guidance to status holders in the workplace aimed at reducing language and cultural differences.

Here you can read about regulations that are common among municipalities. Each municipality can determine its own policy. The names may differ from what we describe here. There may also be facilities that are not listed here. The best thing you can do is to Employers Service Point ask in the region what exactly is possible. Contact your municipality regarding all current tax and subsidy regulations. And of course, there is Refugees Uitzendbureau also ready for you.
